My first experience with vaping was in 2017. The first vape kit I got was Smok 22 Vape Pen; did not like it as much since it was cumbersome to use. I would suggest the Sky Solo Plus, it’s by far a better kit. With the ban of Shisha in Kenya, my love for vaping grew stronger. I soon upgraded to a much stronger kit with an RTA tank. My second kit was a Puma 200W with a Serpent SMM RTA tank which I still use to date. Since then I have been an avid vaping enthusiast. Thanks to Vapetown Nairobi, I am able to get deals on mods, tanks, coils and a variety of flavors with various nicotine strengths.
For those who are considering to start vaping, I would advise you to first do research and see what fits your needs and budget. No offence but most of the You Tube videos are normally paid ads, do more research when shopping for anything related to vaping. You will actually find lots of vape enthusiasts who give unbiased reviews on platforms like Reddit and various vaping blogs. A sub-ohm tank with a good mod should definitely work for you as you start your journey of vaping. I tend to find vape pods too small and quite a hustle to maintain them plus they don’t last as long due to smaller battery capacity. People generally prefer them since they are cheaper and portable.
RTA and RDA tanks are a bit more complicated to handle and maintain, but once you learn how to wick and your cotton and change your coils you will actually come to love them. YouTube is your best teacher when it comes to RTA and RDA tanks. There are lots of tutorials that show you how to build your tanks from ground up.
My daily vape kit for now is a Voopoo Drag 2 with a Kylin M RTA and an Aegis Solo kit with a Cerberus Tank which I got from Vape Town Nairobi. They are always having deals which I try to take advantage of. Vape Town Nairobi, always stocks most of the latest vape kits from some of the top manufacturers of vapes. You are also guaranteed to get a good price from them. Make sure you try them out.
